Indeed our servers crashed during a schedule update. The main reason is that we wanted to keep active connections on all resources and the infrastructure simply got overloaded due to huge amounts of data requests for over 77k http requests per minute. Cloudfront and Amazon could not take the heat in such manner even if cloud environment was supposed to prevent that. But we recovered… threw some water on servers to chill a bit and back to work (kidding, no water on hardware)
