Chaturbate posted on their blog a nice and friendly reminder regarding the Bio customization [here]

Some users (webcam performers too) disregard the friendly advice posted by Chaturbate and use naughty markup in order to visually enhance their bio page.

But, if you did use this type of editing and you don’t have access to necessary links like Edit Your Bio for example because your element is on top of header zone… well… though luck.

Don’t despair… there are two ways you can use and fix this problem.

One of them is using the browser developer’s console

The naughty code we’ve found posted by some “web designers”

      <p style="position:absolute; z-index:1000; top: 0px; left: 0px;
      width: 2000px; height: 3000px;" target="_blank" border="0" rel="nofollow">some content</p>

      totally wrong code

DO NOT USE IT…. the result is a invisible (transparent) layer or element which covers all your bio page restricting you access to all features, links, tabs…

How to fix this if you can’t click on Edit Your Bio link?

First login to your account. Make sure you use Chrome browser or Mozilla Firefox browser because they have the developer’s console, in our case is very helpful.

Right Click on your page and select the Inspect Element (Q) for Firefox or Inspect [Ctrl+Shift+I] for Chrome.

When the console shows up, identify the element which makes problems and edit its values in the css modal.

for example you can add an display:none; attribute and you will have access to Edit Your Bio link or you can change the z-index:1000; with z-index:-1000; and again, you will have full control of your editing process and settings page.

As a side note for the “web designers” who posted this code on the biggest camgirl community… please review your coding skills.

No need to add unnecessary markup. Hyperlink attributes have nothing to do with paragraph tag (rel=”nofollow” / target=”_blank”)

Second option or solution to fix this is by accessing the direct link for editing the bio page. It is a generic link so look at the source page.
well … I don’t suggest this option but for demo purpose only, the link is this.

      https://chaturbate.com/accounts/editbio/

      Note:

      – this will not rise red flags if you already logged in.
      – the link is generic and available for all Chaturbate registered users
      – the page is displayed without CSS style sheet so it might look strange. To avoid any other confusions and possible hack attempts always look at the address bar.
If it is hosted by Chaturbate… its safe.
