Editing overlay – Editor

Editing and customization of CGC Overlays

Choose your favorite overlay and click the Start button.

Once the saved project is open in Settings page you’ll see multiple tabs with different options.

To customize the content of the overlay click the Edit (1) tab and  EDIT OVERLAY pink button (4)

Because the screenshot above is showing other tabs and options, we’ll mention them right now and we’ll go back to Editing process after that.

  1. Editing Tab  which shows the Edit Overlay button
  2. Animations Tab shows other content. Just a short description of what the Animation function triggers.
  3. Controller Tab shows a pink button just like EDIT OVERLAY on the center but it opens the Controller window. This Controller can show different options for different overlays. For example if the saved project has 3 lines of text available for editing, the Controller will show input options for those 3 text fields. If there are 20 lines of text available for editing in overlay, then, of course the Controller will show 20 quick-edits options for those 20 text lines.  Read more about Controller on related documentation
  4. EDIT OVERALY button. When click opens the Editor tool allowing you to edit available content.
  5. Unique URL. This URL is needed — (copy/paste) when you want to add the overlay output to OBS or SplitCam as browser source. Upon click you can see the overlay rendering
  6. Overlay Status .  Click the toggle option to make your overlay Active or not active. In the above screenshot it is not active.

Back to Editing process.

Once the project is open in Editor tool, the content can be edited.

For this example we’ve used the Bottom Bar overlay with photo in the left side, animated text (scrolling up 3 lines) and two additional slots (twitter username and onlyfans username) in the right side.

As mentioned above, this overlay has a total of 5 editable text elements .

Once we click to select on the left image (round one) the Editor Panel will show the option to change the image.

Click on slots from right side and each text can be changed via Editor Panel.

Now the animated editable text from the center of the bar is animating (moving up) so, when a new text line shows up, click on it to use the Editor Panel and change the text. Do this step for all 3 lines of  text if you want or, in Editor tool change only the photo, click to Save the project and all texts can be edited from Controller (smart right?!)

Above the Editor Preview window there’s Animate button. You can click that button and it will preview the Controller options and triggers.

Always keep in mind to click the Save button after all Editing is done.

Settings button (above Editor Preview window) will send you back to Settings Page — first screenshot.

Activate the overlay so your project can be rendered on any platform you choose to stream online.
